It has been said that America is an IDEA.............what kind of Idea could that be ?
I believe that IDEA was nothing but the WISH to create the best system of government in the world.
That WISH later became possible when the Founding Fathers acquired the WILL to do so.
It started with the Declaration of Independence Dec.4 1776 and then the Constitution. March 4 1789
Later , The Bill of Rights and other amendments happened as needed.
This Idea to create the best system of government implies that according to changes or problems that time may bring, amendments or improvements to the system should be considered.
As you may have heard , certain people want to ammend the constitution to define marriage as a union between man and woman..............others want amendments to make the system become more democratic.
In Alliance for America, I do not concern myself with these matters.
What I am concerned with is exclusively the Prestige of America and how we can come closer to that IDEA which is the IDEAL GOVERNMENT.
And all that is required of others is to be in agreement with the above goal. Also perhaps the realization that the political parties available to we , the people are not perfectly satisfactory.

PS . I just googled the constitution and it gave me the date march 4 1789.........if so, WHAT A FANTASTIC COINCIDENCE!!! a good Omen

How else do you propose we seek "ideal government" if not through Constitutional Amendments?
DO YOU HAVE A VISION FOR AN IDEAL GOVERNMENT??
1-BECAUSE HAVING A VISION IS THE FIRST STEP. IE. THE DESIRE FOR A PARTICULAR KIND OF GOVERNMENT WHICH YOU AS ONE CITIZEN WOULD CONSIDER .......IDEAL.
2- THEN COMES THE WILL TO MAKE IT HAPPEN.
SO, GO ON .........DESIRE IT
