On DEMOCRACY

On Democracy 

Democracy is Hard  !

But it gives  DIGNITY to both The POLITICIANS and WE the PEOPLE.

I wrote this to a Politicians in an Email , when i decided i should come on  AllianceForAmerica and write it here .

It was about 10:40 am  Then a coincide happened  which prevented me from coming here right away

I received an Email from FOREIGN AFFAIRS  about an Article , so i had to go there because it reinforced  my view about Democracy

The Title of that Article is  "  The Liberal Order begins at Home " by Robin Niblett  and Leslie Vinjamuri .

LIBERALISM  is  an Attitude  that  can lead to  DEMOCRACY .

just a thought . I may have to expand on it later.  it just came to me !

It is now  March 28, 2021

I should write more often here  but  the most important thing is the REASON  i started this blog.

I am an INDEPENDENT  not  Affiliated to any Party   . 

Therefore i was thinking about how  we can as INDEPENDENTS  have any Power.

I became a US  CITIZEN  in Feb 2000   registered as a Democrat.  Then during the 2004 Campaign  when John Kerry was running  I supported him .

BUT because i have an Objection to one Policy of the DNC , i said to myself that I will change my VOTING  REGISTRATION to INDEPENDENT.

It was done in FEBRUARY 2005   I became fully INDEPENDENT.

.May i Suggest  that you please go back to the POSTS  of  2006   the first 3  will show what was my goal  and why  i think  THE  INDEPENDENTS  SHOULD  KNOW  how  to  INFLUENCE POLITICS . 

1-  There is NO PERFECT POLITICAL  PARTY  

2-  Because  there are NO PERFECT  POLITICIANS

CAPITALISM : Best way to Practice it

I decided to  define  Capitalism as the LOGIC of BUSINESS

I could not understand why some love it because of Adam Smith and other reasons  , some hated it  probably since Karl Marx decided to define it in a negative way. 

I must confess that i have not read  what they wrote , just heard about them and learned by reading the Encyclopedia about Karl Marx  wherein I learned that we were born on the same day of May in a different Century . 

So , after i came to America and learned that some hated Capitalism  and some loved it and  also hearing the REPUBLICANS  accuse the DEMOCRATS of being SOCIALISTS  to frighten the People so they would not vote for the Democrats   i began to think that  this is a Mess . 

It seemed ILLOGICAL to me that  People who loved FDR  and benefited for years from the Social Programs that FDR had created , specially SOCIAL SECURITY that lifted Americans out of the DEPRESSION  .

Then , it was again  The Democratic Party under LBJ who continued with another major  Social Program  named   MEDICARE for Seniors  ,

So , here we are today MLK day  and  as i  decided to continue this Post , as i looked at the words SOCIAL  ,  SOCIALIST  ,  i  suddenly realized  that   GOVERMENT itself  is a SOCIAL  PHENOMENON .  

WHY  did People  decide  to  establish a GOVERNMENT ?  a Government  FOR people in a  SOCIETY    to establish  some order , some regulation , some understanding of how to live together and how to solve problems when they arise.           

So, the establishment of a GOVERNMENT is  A   SOCIALIST    ENDEAVOUR   !!

This should be most well understood by those who  decide to RUN for OFFICE and be ELECTED to RUN the GOVERNMENT

On Nov 3 , the BALLOT will have NOT  2  NAMES   , BUT  2  WORDS :

 DEMOCRACY   or    DICTATORSHIP  ? 

 CHOOSE TO   SAVE   DEMOCRACY

CAPITALISM as the LOGIC of BUSINESS

Yesterday  i  shared  my own  definition of CAPITALISM  with a friend on Twitter ,

He liked it very much ,  

IT happened  via Messages on Twitter  at 3:02   to  3;35 pm

I just noticed that i did not give my definition of  CAPITALISM which i defined a few months ago.

CAPITALISM  is   THE  LOGIC   of   BUSINESS .

It is simple and basic but correct and can be true  in all NATIONS .

I could  say  IT IS  HOW  EVERY Business Person  THINKS

Business people  can practice that logic  in a GREEDY  way  or in a  FAIRER way .

The  GOAL  has to be to PROFIT  otherwise the BUSINESS  FAILS and  with it  JOBS are LOST.

I   THINK   this    LOGIC  IS   NATURAL  .

THE   PRACTICE  of  CAPITALISM   CAN  BE  FAIR   UNFAIR  or LESS or MORE FAIR

 AS  HAS been heard in  AMERICA  ,  

There is what has been called  CRONY  CAPITALISM . Many consider this bad form of Capitalism.  

So, i figured i have to find another ADJECTIVE  to describe  a GOOD form of  CAPITALISM . 

So how about   naming it  DEMOCRATIC  CAPITALISM ?
