My fellow citizens,
I am writing this with a very heavy heart.
I heard of a POLL done by the New York Times/ CBS that really broke my heart specially since it seems true.
Aspen Ideas Poll :
1- 68 % believe that America has DECLINED in the Past 10 years .!
only 23 % ..............think otherwise
2- 78 % think the ECON is the most important issue.
18 % National Security. ---------------------
So, it is such a shame that the Victory we had gained by winning the COLD WAR , and becoming the ONLY SUPERPOWER ..............we blew it all by creating an ENEMY for ourselves.
WHAT a shame !
Where is AMERICA today....? the enemy created has bled us both financially and in real blood.

Today , one of the HUFFingtonPOST , one commentator replied to my comment.
I had said that the GOP is trying to establish :
the PERMANENT REPUBLICAN MAJORITY
(which i had heard during the Karl Rove era ). That would in reality mean a ONE PARTY system. or in other words A TOTALITARIAN system , since they wanted it to be PERMANENT.
My fellow citizen replied to me that Democratic party also would aim at
NOW let me tell you how they differ.
We just have to look at the way the GOPers behaved when they had total control with George W Bush from 2000 -2006 or even 2008.
THEY all OBEYED BUSH ............no one dared criticize and they all voted along party line.
CORRECT ???? OK then now let us go to the DEMOCRATIC side.
In 2006 they got the HOUSE ..................but they still funded the wars as Bush had wanted
and finally in 2008 they got the TRIPLE CROWN ( as Bachmann says she wants.)
that is :
the House and the Senate and the Presidency with 365 Electoral Votes.
They had a 60 seats Majority in the SENATE . But what happened ???
As ususal, the Dems were divided had the right to say NO and even VOTE with the GOPers.
It means that EVEN when they HAVE TOTAL POWER , they do NOT ACT like DICTATORS..........................and allow the OPPOSITION to BEAT THEM DEAD.
in other words they are WEAK and POWERless even with total POWER
SEE the difference ???? Yes ?
If not quite, then please look at what happened at the RLC Repulican Leadership Conference in New Orleans..................whe a Comedian was applauded for JOKES against Obama , but as soon as he JOKED against a REPULBICAN................
HE was YANKED Out ................

BALANCE of Power

When the GOP had total control of Government, we had a situation like we had from 2000 to 2006 and really 2008 because the Republicans are OBEDIENT and force others to be obedient too.
So, I remember that period as an almost DICTATORIAL system. Specially with the 2 wars we were led to and 9/11 event.
Even in 2006 when the DEMs got the HOUSE majority , the Dems were able to protect Privatization of Social Security.
However , the best contrast of the 2 parties came in 2008, when the Dems had the TRIPLE CROWN (as Bachmaan calls it )
and lo and behold ...............even with a 60 vote Super Majority in the SENATE.............the Democratic party showed its true colors ......OH yes the DEMs have a DIVIDED party , or to put it in another way..........
the DEMOCRATIC Party is 2 parties in one . Which means that they are a WEAK party and cannot RULE with FORCE like the GOPers.
That means they cannot rule like Dictators. that means that they have a check and balance within the party itself.
The reason I am saying this is to warn people so that Bachmann 's aim to get the TRIPLE CROWN for the GOTPers is a really dangerous thing for the people.
WE the PEOPLE will change to WE THE TEAPARTY
