DEFINING a S.....

Sundaty oct 23, 2011

LET'S SEE. I have a friend who says the following :

Anyone who sees a problem , or set of problems in any Socitey,
and tries to find a solution , or wants to elect a Political Party , or a candidate who can solve problems .....................IS a SOCIALIST !

I was surprised at the basic truth of that statement.

So, with that definition in mind, I would say the following :

Citizens who see problems in societies are POTENTIAL Socialists ,while those who actually propose solutions of any kind are REAL SOCIALISTS , whether they know it or not.

THINK a while on this

Actually, just the idea of ELECTING Representatives is the FIRST STEP on the Road of SOCIALISM .!

political labels are inherently flawed. they reduce layers and layers of complexity to a single word. i think it's best to talk issue by issue, rather than use labels like socialist, democratic, or republican!

sure LABELING IS too simplistic and superficial.
HOWEVER in this Post I am not labeling
I am ACTUALLY DEFINING that a Socialist is any citizen who sees problems in Society and strives to solve them or find some people whom they think might solve the problem thru the Electoral Process by VOTING ie ELECTING them to do what is needed....etc
In this way, ALL CONCERNED CItizens would be SOCIALISTS.!!!!
which is exactly right and necessary to mention.
