On this last day of the year 2010, I would like to quote from someone I did not know even existed and hour ago.

I post this here , because on Huffington Post in the past week or so, I have been warning people that all the commenting that we engage in DIFFUSES our Power. It is .............WORDs NOT ACTS .
It looks as if we active, but we do NOT ACCOMPLISH anything really !!
that is why I loved that saying. It was by author, art critic, and social reformer named JOHN RUSKIN
and a friend of mine sent that line to me tonight via Email. I am very grateful to him.
It proves that my worrying was correct.
Our Commenting seems like activity, and concern.................but it ends up as ineffective as COMPLACENCY.
Because what we need is ACTIONS not WORDS....anymore.
So let us hope we can Mobilize and Organize to ACT and WIN

without action/deeds we Dems will not keep our country moving forward. The GOP wants to remove/replace the progress made by us in the last two yrs.
As the GOP takes on the leadership of the house this month we (Dems) must not sit by silently as they try to turn back our progress.
A good way to let our voice be heard is writing letters to the editor of your local newspaper.
The president needs us to be vocal.
Please don't sit back. Be active.
Your suggestion that people should write to the Editors of the Local Newspaper is a good one.
But it seems people use their time to make comments on the Huffington Post, or other blogs. .
SO , I would like to tell them to COPY some of those comments and mail them to the Editors.
So , they get AMPLIFIED and it does not need more effort because it has already been written.
Even if the newspapers do not Print them, at least they realize where the people are.
